I'm not a big fan of Sonor, just because of the look of them.
I've played a few sonors, and I don't really like the sizing they have either.
I would like a gretsch kit, but for more of a second kit type thing, i love their snares.
I don't like the gretsch tom sound, though.

I want to lean towards the PDP, but it really just looks cheesy in those sparkle finishes, and the stock snare is bad.
I also don't like that they put a hole in the bass drum for the mounts.
The tom sound is nice though.
the ddrum is better looking, and I like the ash/maple shells, I'm just worried that it will sound and look cheap, because I have never played this model ddrum, only their cheaper kits.
I really am stuck between the two.
