I hate drum battles. For one, the word "battles" reminds one of fighting. I always felt that playing the drums is like playing any other instrument in the sense that one should play with definition and sensitivity. Besides, what it takes to become a master requires so much effort, why do we have to battle one another once we've gained that mastery? He who speaks doesn't know and he who knows doesn't speak.
