Let's see, my kit is rosewood and the closest I could find is Oxblood. That's if they still carry that color. It was popular around the 60's and 70's.
My father had a pair of winged tips in oxblood, but I never saw him wear them. Must have been one of those Christmas gifts.
You know, like one of sweaters people get during that time of year that some one else gave it to them the Christmas prior. I know, I had one with reindeer designs when I was a kid. As long as it was warm, I didn't care.
So DG16 doesn't like to wear war paint either. Good for her, natural look is the best way to go.
