No posts on this thread in over three years. I'm new and want to join in the fun! Lots of interesting band names so far. Here's mine.

Insulin Bunneez - First band my buddy and I started in high school. Lots of Nirvana and Melvins influenced stuff to start. Eventually grew into sludge metal, experimental, and i'm ashamed to say...rap metal(gasp). The Bunneez came from an old cartoon episode of a show called Acme Acres. I don't remember much about the episode except they kept saying "The Bunneez is Coming" through the entire thing.

Rex 84 - System of A Down influenced music with lots of "political bs". Started with the same friend that formed the above band. We were trading conspiracy theories back and forth and came across the Rex 84 program and concentration camps across the U.S. It was fun coming up with insane theories for each song.

The RLK Surf Band A.K.A. "Hang Four" - Surf band with same dude as two above bands. His plays surf music with his dad now and then and needed a drummer. It was different from what we'd been playing but cool. It was nice to be able to play in flip flops and a Hawaian Shirt.

Fall To Zero - Current band. Dunno where the name came from but it sounds cool right? This is the first band I've been in without my friend. I audtioned and they accepted me. Then when they needed another guitar player, guess who I recommended? Go ahead. Yeah the same dude from all three bands above. I've been playing music with this guy forever. It's pretty cool to write music with somebody for that long.
