Single hits around the set
I am poor with terminology so be patient with me. I am reading a book that ask me to do this fill around the set and I am having trouble with the sticking. I own a 5 piece set.
it is 4/4 time and the first 2 beats are just the beat. Then it asked me to hit a single quarter note from snare-to-tom-to-tom-floor tom, and then repeat. should there be cross-sticking or what? I asked someone else and they as well are only used to one fill around the set, not two in a row, any advice?!? Thanks! |
