i have found that when people say that they are too glassy or too tinny i love them. i've read so many reviews that say "great cymbal, just too tinny for my tastes" on sabian b8. i have a used 20 inch b8 ride and its so glassy when i use
5a nylon tips yet mellow and warm but still with clear stick definition when i use
2b wood tips. but i think the HCS suffice and who knows i may never want another pair of hats (just spitballin' there). the reviews say that they just get better with age. like fine wine. |
