Our school has that cymbal too. I know what you mean with the ringing but it isnt all that noticable if your playing over top of it. also it is very loud but is that bad?
And to stop this from happening in the future just play that cymbal befor you buy it. Even if its not the same one it just has to be the same type and size. It helps
