Re: Cold weather storage I'm sure you can damage the shells if the weather is as cold as you say it is, if your drums have a wrap on them that may start to peel the shells may crack the smart thing would be to get them completely out of the cold even if you have to stack them in your room. I live in Las Vegas and we have the problem with heat 9-10 months out of the year so I understand your problem
