i love the way my snare sounds with the stock wires!!?? they were originally a 16 strand but i cut from the center of the clip down to a 10 strand. 16 is just too many for my taste. i cut them to look like the puresound eq wires and that pattern works beautifully if you have snare buzz problems. i didn't but anything above 10 or 12 strands is too many for me.
oh btw my snare is a steel shell. nothing special here. |
