Hey all,
Tenatious P here, aka Paul. Live around thirty miles west of London. Been drumming for closing in on thirty years, in church bands, studio sessions, and gigging bands. married with two girls.
Current band is a real tight covers band called Riser (
RISER - The Best Band In The Land......) which is real fun.
OK - kit. Currently playing a Mapex VX in deep coffee (a real nice finish) 10,12,13, 16ft, 22"bd, with a choice of the original snare (not the best, sadly - it's the weak point of the range for me), my beloved old early 70s Premier 2000, or my brand new baby, the Pork Pie Big Black - 14*6.5, black chrome on brass with chrome tube lugs which M123 kindly supplied me for $79.99....
Hardware's predominantely the 320 series that came with the kit, but I have a few odd bits, including a very good, solid CB Drums single bass pedal which I picked up when I really needed a cheap pedal fast, and I've yet to stop using it.
Cymbals are mainly a mix of Zildjian (ZHT 16" fast crash, Planet Z hats, an 80s Avedis 16" thin crash) with a wuhan 12 inch splash, and a couple of old Tosco cymbals (16" crash and 20" ride) that still sound real good.
Once I can find my way round, I'll post some pics, but for now, howdy doodly-doo!
