[Fred Haas]

Hi All,
I have been playing drums for many years (>40). I started at 9, practicing to Beatles, cream, stones, etc but was very influenced by San Francisco rock from the 60's & 70s.
I have played in many bands with Grateful Dead influences.

I have played on Slingerland drums circa 1968, but fell in love with Ludwig drums, and Zildjian cymbals.

I currently play on a 5 piece but am looking to get a slightly larger set, for a change.

I love deep rich sounds in a set. I am looking for suggestions for other brands to consider. With two kids in college, price is an issue, but a used set would be fine.

Any recommendations?
