I came across this thread, and felt a little bad because it was empty and lonely, so I'll be the first. I use Evans Genera... I forget the rest. There may be a 2 after the name. They're 2 ply anyway. I use them because my kit came with them on batter, REALLY crappy resos, so I went and got me some EC2s(good decision), and put them on batter. I think the generas are OK on reso, but on batter they're not very good. Come to think of it, I still use the crappy resos on my floor tom, and it sounds awfully awful
