From what you have laid out I would pick the Gretsch kit. I have never been a big fan of ddrums and Tama well everyone plays them. I have always liked Gretsch drums although I have never owned any, My freind did and his was a solid wll built kit. If you check out this and other forums you'll find in that Gretsch is generally a highly regarded Drum manufacture and the "Catalina" series is especially highly thought of. T |
