Totally. It's seems to be picking up way too much. I would recomend taking it into your local store and trying it against some others to see the difference.
Also, love the recording btw. I can appreciate the discipline required for openhand drumming. Very impressive chops.
Personally for my triggering I use rolands free standing trigger as I don't want to be mucking around with the drum and brain sound at the same time. you could acheive this with a mesh batter head if you like, though it doesn't bother a lot of people. |
