Re: "Ya' Gotta Try" with brushes! Ha, if you wanna try a new practise routine, try this:
10 mins warm up
1 Hour stick control (30 mins wrists, 30 mins fingers)
30 mins rudiments
30 mins foot technique
1 hours jam/free practise
That's 3 hours and 10 mins of practise a day, and it provides a great balance!
