Drumset trading????
Can i get your views on this?. Ive got a beautiful set of Premier Signias, not the marquis signias without reinforcement hoops...my shells have them. Premier will most likely never make these again so its a bit of a collectors set. My kit is emerald green and in really nice condition. 18x22-9x10-10x12-12x14 and 14x16 hanging floor toms.
OK, so...i see this set of black (covered) premier classic series all maple shell top line drums with 18x22-8x10-8x12-14x14-16x16 floor toms with legs. I like the color and i prefer the sound of covered drums versus lacquer....i know..im a weirdo. Does anyone see a problem with trading a collectable kit for a regular set of premier shells?, do any of you hold any sentimental value to drums?, am i making a mistake by considering this?. My signia kit has sat in the basement for 2 years while ive played my Sonor 3007 sparkle kit. I dont think? id regret a trade....do i need to be talked out of this consideration?. The black kit is a consignment set for 1500. Thanks for your thoughts.  |
