Flipping toms over
The kit at the church where I currently play gigs has some heads that are getting beat down pretty hard. When I asked one of the guys if we could replace the heads he simply told me to just flip over the toms. (Shamefully, he's a drummer too). Has anyone ever done this? I could imagine that the drums wouldn't sound good with such bad reso heads but how did it sound? |
