I have been playing since 1968. I have had my share of Zildjians and his brother that defected to Canada, S.A.B.I.A.N. You guys will be wasting your money. Please save a little and get Paiste signatures. I'm not a dealer but a guy that wishes you don't make the same mistake I did. Sound Formula is the same alloy as sig's but made in Germany to save money. In the 70's, I used to spend hours at the music store banging on each Zildjian hoping I could find a match to what I have. "I wonder why Steve Smith lived across the street from the Zildjian factory". I have sig's that are cracked and sound perfect. I bought then that way so I wouldn't pawn them. I fell like your DAD but I don't want to preach at you guys/gals. I was there. I just think the lower cymbals are junk and they target the youngsters.
