Sound Formula is the same alloy as sig's but made in Germany to save money. In the 70's, I used to spend hours at the music store banging on each Zildjian hoping I could find a match to what I have. "I wonder why Steve Smith lived across the street from the Zildjian factory". I have sig's that are cracked and sound perfect. I bought then that way so I wouldn't pawn them. I fell like your DAD but I don't want to preach at you guys/gals. I was there. I just think the lower cymbals are junk and they target the youngsters. |
So basically, you're saying that we shouldn't waste on money on lower end Zildjians and Sabians and should go straight to the Paiste Signatures?
