Advantages of 4 piece drum sets

Does any one here play 4-piece drum sets here? Usually, a drummer thinks more drums = better but this isn't necessarily the case. In fact there are some advantages of having a mere 4-piece set. These are the reasons that I can think of at the top of my head. Can you think of any others?

1. Less equipment to carry around, set up, and tear down. There's also less mics, cables, and stands because of the one less drum.

2. Without the middle tom, the drummer can be seen better and the drummer has more visibility of the other band members and the crowd.

3. You have less to work with, so this promotes your creativity as a drummer.

Any others you can think of?
