Bass Drum Reso Head

Looking for some advice. I want to put a design on my bass drum for an upcoming gig. I am thinking i'll use a white adhesive vinyl probably 1.5mm.

Will this affect the sound in anyway?

Silly question I know but I thought i'd better ask
