| Whatever you buy, make sure you try every cymbal before you buy it. Just because they have the same markings doesn't mean they'll sound the same.
Also be aware cymbals will sound vastly different depending on what room you're playing them in. When you find that good crash in the shop, stick it on the end of your finger and walk around the room hitting it. In the corner of the room, an open space, near one wall, all of this will let you know what to expect from your cymbal. |
