Unfortunately, the contest didn't go as smoothly as planned. There were a lot of gray areas that needed to be addressed. Things will be much more clear cut for next time.
For example, we decided in the beginning that we would only count links if they generate 15 clicks to our site or more. This is all tracked in our site logs. We purposely didn't announce this because otherwise people would just start clicking their own links. Next time, we won't even let that be a part of the contest since it was such a huge factor in this one.  |
