Mapex4Ever is on a distinguished road
3500??? Never heard of that series. There is the 505 ,1005, 2005, 3005, S-Series, Delite series and the Designer series. Now with that said, older models ended in a 3 or a 1. (1001, 2001, 3001 you get the idea) As for the Beech wood, I never knew that Sonor made a set from Beech wood. Very interesting. I'll have to do some research on that. If it's a 3005, it's more than likely maple, as they were made to be in the same class (but not made as good as) the Mapex Pro M series. Sonor is owned by Mapex. They have been for over 2 years now. The 2005 is Birch. (to be made like the M series) I would need more information to pinpoint your set, but with any set recently, it's only worth what the buyer is willing to pay. Used sets are tough without seeing pics and such. I'll do some research into a Beech wood sonor kit. I can't rule out that there was indeed a set made but only distributed in the UK or something. Hang in there I'll try to help you out the best I can.
