| Keep in mind that a splash will never be as loud as a 16 or 18 inch crash. You shouldnt have to hit a splash that hard to get its maximum sound (which isnt that loud). So, I wouldnt be hitting it full force.
But skinslapper is right, with proper technique its really hard to break a cymbal. |
