thats what all the old drum heads were made of up untill they invented mylar and I dont think that was untill the late 50's.
I would say you might get a rich deep sound out of them depending on the type of wood your drums are made of and how you tune them. |
yeah my thinking is... why go back in time when we've already advanced in technology? unless you're going for that old school tone.. but you can probaly even do that by tuning the new stuff a certain way... just my thoughts
