| First off, you must be beating the crap out of your cymbals. I couldn't recomend which zildjians to get, but I really like the sabian metal X series. Thick and durable. Also, someone was telling me that if you drill a small hole where the crack stops advancing up the cymbal it will keep it from getting worse, but it will change the tone a little. And finally: An epoxy is a two part glue. JB weld is a good example. Epoxy's are typically extremly strong. Lotus uses epoxy to hold parts of their Elise and Exige togther, and Boeing uses epoxy on airplane wings. |
