I got a chance to play it for quite a while, and there is one issue: When you lower the beater enough so that it is hitting the middle of the head, the bottom part of the beater shaft sticks out so much that it can easly scrape the head. You have to move it back pretty far for it not to. My plan is to just saw the last inch and a half of the end of the beater. The beaters are nice and lightweight and are shaped like the DW beaters.
