Ok, I think i got it. I took a closer look at the construction of the pedal and this is what I came up with: Move the beater foward in relation to the linkage. Loosen the nut that holds the beater assembly (Just to the left of the linkage assembly nut) while making sure that the linkage doesn't move, rotate the beater assembly foward in relation to the linkage assembly. You probably want the arrow pointing at -1 or lower. Moving the beater foward will make it hit the drumhead in the stronger part of the stroke. You can work with the increased bounce off the drumhead, thus placing less relaince on the internal spring. I did the same thing with my iron cobra, and it worked miracles. Let me guess, does the beater seem to suddenly run out of momentum right before it contacts the head? If so, this will probably fix that too.
