| I play with a sort of low heel up position, and will swich to heel down for the rare infrequent ocaiosions that I play softly. I always use heel up for the hi hat though. Yes it seems to be a good idea to swich back and fourth. I think I read on drum guru or something like that that Practicing both styles will help your speed, power and controll at whatever style you end up using the most. |
