I've heard that aquarian studio rings cut down on a lot of overtones and give the drums a nice thud for rock drumming. But how much do they actually cut down on? They're cheap, but I still don't want to spend money when it's not needed. And another quick question, the bottom head of the drum, if it is upgraded from the stock head, will the drum sound better?
