Tool, Jambi Intro notation

Hi everyone.

So, being a total Tool nutjob, I've been trying to figure out how Danny plays that awesome intro to their new track "Jambi".

At first I thought he was playing the eighth notes with his hands and throwing in the bass drums for the sixteenths, but after seeing them perform it live last week, I noticed it is much easier than that and once I'd figured it out, I thought I'd share it with you.

You simply get a steady eighth line going with your feet (you do need double-bass for this) then hit two 16th's on the 1, 2, 2&a, 3&, and 4 with the toms.

Play around with it and and alternate on the toms.

I've probably stuffed up my explaination and notation guide, but have a listen and should know what I'm getting at.

Tool fans have a good listen to the track and have a crack!
