I don't mind listening to some metal drumming especially if it's done well. It just isn't what I would choose to put on my CD player at home. I have a son in his mid 20s, and another that is 17 and a senior in High school and they are both Metal heads. So I've been exposed to it wether I wanted to be or not. I like to listen to a variety of music, and expose myself to as many different styles as possible, always something you can borrow from other genres that will fit in with what your doing. An open mind is a wonderful thing.I'm the same way.I mostly listen to underground hip-hop and death metal but enjoy a wide range of stuff from Latin and Jazz to Progressive/Experimental and funk.The only thing I can't handle is country.It seems to be a lost genre full of repetition.Most artists have thier lyrics written for them,music written for them,thier look contrived by someone else for them and 7 accountants distributing thier money to various accounts.lol.Hey,thanx YOU.
