Update.
Thought i'd post an update, for all those who care. I finally managed to hook up with some semi-reliable and very tallented musicians. (Thanks, myspace!) It's TOTALLY different from the guitarists/bassists I'm used to: 25watt practice amps and a knowelege of 3 chords. It's also really wonderfull to not be the only person in the rythem section. Theese guys had some serious gear and real drive. It's also great to be challenged; It turns out that I play far better when some pressure is applied. We had a great vibe going (think godsmack, Alice in chains, Stone temple pilots - heavyish rock) Hopefully we can get some tunes recorded within this month. Stay tuned. |
