Hahaha, a pinkie thread would be funny. I think I leave my pinkie out when I play so I get more rebound from the hit.
I tried this theory today and it seemed as though when I tucked it in I wasn't getting the response I wanted, but when that pinkie is out I felt that I got a better response and rebound from the stick.
