Spizzichino cymbals

I'm very keen to get my hands on some Spizzichino cymbals but they're quite hard to come by, when they do appear on eBay the price just shoots up over my budget. Anyone here own one, any thoughts on the sound?

(Check it out at http://www.spizzichinocymbals.com )

It's my ambition to retire to the mountains and make cymbals all day long.

No, but I'm dying to. I've been told they have similar characteristics to Istanbul cymbals. (Which I keep banging on about).

I've heard of them; some of the more afflunent kids in my high school band got their parents to buy them. But I doubt I'll be using them anytime soon. Maybe if I was willing to give up my hopes of a PhD and practice all the time and actually try to eke out a living as a pro, but . . . . getting a PhD in English seems almost more profitable (can you say tenure?)

Oh man, thanks! I hadn't even thought to look on youtube.

"Unique to me is better than beautiful". A wise man, no wonder his cymbals sound so darn good.

Now I'm late for work.

Hahaha, that's awesome.

Davenhurst, that's your future right there.

I love when he compares the cymbals to beautiful women...
