Nothing there about U.S. Law. Not on this side of the pond Bub-bah. Batch testing is used here. QOS systems are different here. Then again there's the small claims courts.
You however give great advice. Persistence may get this guy a new replacement cymbal. As you stated, nothings gained or lost unless you try.
