Lightbulb Hammerax cymbals aka Andy B

Cast from rocks from mother Earth itself
Hand forged by Neanderthal men in the Dark corners of the world
Beaten to death by Ogres with big metal Hammers
Hammerax cymbals for Rock...........

They look like something off the side of a Viking ship. It has just arrived and a drummer has taken the wooden and metal sheilds off the side of the boat and hung them on cymbal stands....

I can see metal drummers beating these things ****-less with tree stumps made of oak....
or Thore Hammers

Some look like vomit on a cymbal left to dry and then varnished .... Yes, cymBals that look like a pavement pizza....

What do they sound like imagine a Ford Compact roof skin taken off with a blow torch beaten over someone's head and a big circle cut out and hit with a piece of wood......................Get a Zildjian or a Paiste get a life or maybe try one and see if you get the Hammerax bug.....check these out

Aaron Edgar

Aaron Edgar is one of the hardest working and most in-demand drummers in Winnipeg, with good reason. He's played, toured and recorded with many artists all over the country, such as : The Waking Eyes, Imaginary Cities, Ridley Bent, Willie Mack, Grand Analog , The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Jack Semple to name a few. He is also a teacher of all styles of drumming from beginner to professional. With his advanced program, "Aaron Edgar's Brain Exchange at the Grain Exchange" focussing on more out there topics : technique to breakbeat, drum n' bass, extreme metal, double bass, time signatures, metric modulation, displacement, advanced poly-rhythmic and multi-poly-rhythmic theory and so on.

Aaron is the owner of Audio Addiction Studio, which was built specifically for recording drums. The focus of this studio is on long distance remote sessions. He utilizes such equipment as API, Great River and Shadow Hills mic pre's. A wide variety of microphones including Royer Labs, Sennheiser and more. SSL Alphalink converters, the list goes on. On top of it all, an unbelievably massive selection of extremely high end drums and cymbals. A full list of gear and session details can be found on his website, AaronEdgar.com under studio and session.

Aaron is extremely driven and continues an over the top schedule at all times. Somehow he finds time for touring, gigging, teaching, recording and writing. Aaron plays over 40 Hammerax instruments.

hi Gus i'm guessing at the moment the "ultraviolet" dude its European sounding the whole Hammerax series is a bit strange and goes back to traditional cymbals like back in the dark ages before the Turkish Civalised the process into Zildjian..... with there lighter stronger metal....some of the Hammerax takes thinness to new realms and some its like an alien has crash landed and has said here ya go guys make some cymbals out the wreckage..... some are thinner than stackers crisps man too new levels of madness....I looked at the guy on you tube playing them and I had to do a double take it was like someone wobbling plates man......bendy spinning cymbals.........its mashing my head up but the moor i listen to them the moor i'm getting to like them.....so its therapy

Wicked man Gus thanks for the tuneing clip orsome...he used a green ludwig sparkle kit on every album bar one! but never used the 18" floor because it was too big...the only album he didnt use the green sparkle was on Pressence i think he used the blue sparkle...the Green was his Favourite kit......you must have red my mind because i was looking at the same kit on the Ludwig site...i had a quick look at a Spaun kit the same colour but the fittings were black chrome it was nice!!!!
