I just found a crack in my hi hats.... So now im in the market for some new ones.

I play in two bands. In my main band we play deathcore and metalcore stuff. So with them im mostly concerned about a nice open sizzling hat sound. But my other band plays some funk and a little reggae type stuff mostly influenced by bands such as sublime, 311, and the red hot chili peppers. So with that band im looking for a nice chick sound and a open then closed hi-hat sound.

So basically i want some pretty versatile cymbals. What would you recommend?

Chaser, This Hi-Hat can produce great sizzle, hiss, click, growl and are quite versitle. Check them out at your local drum shop. You won't regret it.

Been playing them for over 7 years now and they're very durable and heavy. A heavy duty stand is required for mounting them.

This Hi-Hat was also Mitch Mitchell's favorite.

But they do also come in 15".

Zildjian Quick Beats i have had a pair since 1995 and still play them great for funk, rock, jazz and anything unbeatable they are like Duracell batteries they go on and on and on i love um and sound engineers love them...
