I need advice on cymbals

I am in need of more cymbals. all i have is a 14" and 16" zbt crash, an 18" zildjian schimitar crash/ride, and a 10"zht china/splash.

I know for sure i want to get the 18" zbt crash, and get rid of the schimitar & replace it with an actual ride. plus i need a china.

I need advice on which ride i should get, and i need advice on which china i should get.

Btw i am on a VERY limited budget...

Cymbals are something you just have to hear for yourself---I have a zbt set on my rig right now---14" hats, 16" crash, 20" ride, and 18" china, and a sabian b8 18" crash ride. If you are on a budget like me, just stick with the zbt line. they seem to sound good together, and they are much less expensive than others---you can always upgrade later! Bottom line is just trust your ears and get the best your wallet will allow!!!

Re: I need advice on cymbals

Sabian B8 cymbals are pretty much the equivalent to the ZBT line in price but I have a much higher preference for them. You should give them a listen and see what you think. (B8 Series | SABIAN Cymbals) The Sabian XS20 line is the next step up (but again, it's all really preference) and the xs20 ride is actually a pretty decent ride. As for a China cymbal.... those are so incredibly unique that it's pretty hard to name a good one... Paiste makes good Chinas but tend to be a little pricier... check out Wuhan or Agazarian - you can pick up a China for $30. Hope this helps!
