Thumbs up The Best Ride . Cymbal for Vater 3As and Fusions

Hi everyone, I'm Rev. Matt. I just decided to switch from Vic Firth to Vater Sticks and I wanted to ask your opinion on the best sounding cymbal for their 3A and their Fusion models. I currently have a Zildjian 22"-of which I'm not exactly sure which model it is because I bought it pre-owned almost 14 years ago-and it sounds very nice for the 1A, the 5A and the 7A models no matter the volume level. But I have to watch my velocity with the Fusion or the 3A. I recently played at a visiting church which had a set of Sabian B8s. The ride cymbal accompanied with the 3A and the Fusion sounded nice; but I want to keep in mind the best quality overall sound of the entire setup and how well it contributes to the rhythm section. Give me your thoughts and suggestions.

I am no expert, but sticks are a lot cheaper than cymbals, so just buy a dozen sets and experiment---be a lot cheaper for the congregation!

That's a part that I'm not worried about. This is my personal set and I transport this to at least one event. I'll probably take this set to other events as they come and there's a need for it (I can think of a few places). I want to make sure the overall sound quality is acceptable whether there is recording or there's just live sound and the drums are mic'd.
