ZBTs

ZBTs are not the best cymbals mostly for heavy hitters they break kind of easily and are not the best sounding but i would say that they are better than any other begginner cymbal

ZBTs are good beginning cymbals - much better than the ones that come with an entry level drum set. However, they don't compare with Zildjian A or A Custom cymbals or some of the other higher end models. If you're serious about drums I suggest you invest in something much better as they'll last you and you'll save money and time from the start.

Beginner cymbals are bull crap in the first place. If you want to play in the long run, get good cymbals. Helps you think too! ZBT's are trash can lids. Quit buying junk.

Haha, way to be blunt greyno...
The problem is that most beginners don't know the difference and think that just by buying a Zildjian, they're good cymbals.

I bet that Zildjian and Sabian make a ton of money just by their beginner models.

I took my cousin to The Drum Shop (my local dealer) for his first set of cymbals. He ended up getting the ZBT's but in my opinion paiste was the better choice. Their 402's were only slightly more expensive and sounded a lot better (in my opinion).

Paiste offers a gradual build up to their more expensive ranges with 4 series of cymbals before you get to their alpha range which is still well priced for their quality.

I like the fact that paiste offers a good choice no matter what level you're at.

I think that the ZBTs are okay cymbals~ I've heard that they weren't the best and that they break easily so I ended up getting the Zildjian A series which I really love. I don't regret it at all even though they're a lot more expensive~

I have three Ziljian A series cymbals and have been really happy with them, although I think I'm going to get different hi-hat cymbals because I've decided I want a thinner pair. The crash I've been super happy with though, it was exactly the sound I wanted.

I have one ZBT and I hit hard sometimes and it is standing up better than my old ZXT thin crash. I'm thinking of getting higher end Paiste cymbals.

Paiste is a great cymbal company that is overshadowed a lot of times by Zildjian and Sabian. In many cases, I prefer the sound of the Paiste cymbals over their counterparts. They are frequently used in orchestras and concert bands and I have a lot of experience with them. I'd recommend them to a drum set player as well.
