The drummer in one of our bands "Grinspoon" has a Paiste dimensions ride that looks a lot like Malletjazz's except it's 22" and got that Black Bozzio look to the top of it. That is my fav Ride. When he hits that thing, it sounds like the world is coming to an end.

I can get all the ping I need out of any ride, it's a lush, full, doom bringing crash I want.

I thinkn one of the greatest sounding rides I ever heard and I really coudnt belive it was a sabian ride/crash and I think it was an 18" or somthing, it was a really long time ago that I saw it and played on it but I was so shocked at the soundes it made, and it sounded great as a ride and a crash.

I do have to say that Im glad those days are gone of the crash/ride combo cymbal, most of the time they sounded horribal.

I've grown on my ancient and tarnished 20" Zildjan K ride.

Sabian Hand Hammered Ride. I think I might get one of the paragon rides down the road if the price is right.

I dont think too much in a specific Brand...I prefer to hear the sound and not watch the Brand... anyway I use a very light Zildjian Constantinopla 22" and a IsTanbul Mel Lewis 21".

Paiste Signature 20" Power Ride has a great ping to it and the bell sounds good, too!
