I usaly use 20" rides

I was thinking a liquid ride(signature Chester Thomas), my friend (I buy symbals froem him,great drummer), was thinking a 22" z custom Ping ride, because mine, well, rings(alot),well, great for starting with no money.

coments, tips, brands (zildjian, sabian, or paiste).

Its gotta be good for punk, metal, jazz, rock, gypsy punk, and finaly classical.

Sabians signature 21" Universal ride. It had great stick articulation. You can use the edge for light crashing and its got a great bell tone. It's not an extremely loud ride, but the overtones dont get out of control like many I've tried. It was designed in part by Ed Shaughnessy, who played in Doc Severinsen's Tonight Show band. He wanted a ride that could play all types of music equally well. The only thing is, it not a cheap cymbal. But you do get a lot of bang fer the buck.

cant go past a Z custom for tight ping..... should be able to get one cheap as too...
