Poll: Zildjian, Pastie, or Sabian

I, my self, looove sabains. They have a very diverse selection of cymbals and they make the Metal X crashes. 'Nuff said

I'm a Paiste man myself. To be honest I've never had the chance to realy try anything else, except some Ziljians a mate of mine had a few years back. They weren't much to write about.

I havn't had the chance to try anything other than some very basic Zildjian cymbals due to money constraints... some day, I'd like to try different brands.

I'm using a pair of Paiste 14" signature sound edge hats--love them. Also just got a Zildjian 20" custom K dry ride--really digging that one too. Other than that I mostly have Zildjian crashes.

I played zildjians (A & Z customs) for about 6 years and started breaking them like it was my job. since then I have bounced around between paiste and sabian. The paragon ride is clean and loud without being obnoxious. The HHX's crashes provide a great sound and I have two Hand Hammered (14 & 16) that I love for acctents. With that said I have never heard better splash cymbals than those made by paiste, and after hours spent comparing their crashes to my favorite sabians I've started to come around to them too.

Apples with apples. They all have vast ranges of cymbals to suit the vast range of styles, and there many between brands with similar characteristics. No brand is better than any other, it is just personal preference what you choose to use and should be. Treat them all nicely they last forever.I would never pick a cymbal because you said it was good, something my mind would have to make up.
No Vote, as i don't see any purpose in the poll outcome.

Definitely a Sabian guy right here

I love the sound I get from the Pro Sonix series. That and the XS 20 cymbals are actually great sounding and well priced for those who are on a budget like me.
