ZXT and ZBT Cymbals

Whats the difference between Zildjian ZXT and ZBT cymbals beside the price?
I want to relpace the standard cymbals that came with my Swingstar, what would another good choice be for rock cymbals? :arnold:

my sugestion to you is to save up some money and try and get like A's or even just some regular zildjians. I would stay away from the ZXT an ZBT's if you can.
If thats not an option then I guess I would go with the ZBT's.

I just looked them up on their web site and that is the top of the line for their sheet bronze cymbals.

I would look thru ebay or musicans freind, or were ever but try and get a box set that has a hh crash and ride.

if you are wanting to start a metal band then I suggest saving your pennys and going with the Z customs, Yea their exspensive but they sound great with metal.

I would tell you about sabian but I dont know anything about them.

what you should do is go to www.zildjian.com and you can look up some of the bands that you like and it will tell you what they use in their seet up and that can help you as well.

I thought that i would buy a ZXT rock box set or ZBT rock box set. I was just checking out the M.F. catalog and Sabian B8 rock pack and rock pro pack both look good. Are the Sabian B8 any good?
Whick is better thew B8 rock pack or ZBT rock pack?

that would be my sugestion as well.

The only set that I ever bout was thru musiacns freind and it was a set of Z customs.
other wise I bought mine one at a time along with almost every drummer you ever meet.
I have about 13 cymbals and it took me a long time to get all of them.
it is an investment for what they cost so you might as well save up and get somthing that is going to last a long time and have great sound.

Sabian B8 and Zildjian ZBT are almost equivalent for sheet bronze cymbals.. they're not too bad for entry level cymbals

But I would have to agree.. the cymbals you got with the swingstar are probaly really crappy and the ZBT won't be THAT much of an upgrade... save up for something better.. you won't regret it in the long run

I would have to sasy a crash and get like an 16"

the ride and HH is going to cost alot so that is a biggie to save up for.

I would go with HH next and then ride, But I think I would at least try and have 2 crashes.

right now guitar cebter has a great deal going on zildjian A's.
it's like 5 hundred and somthing but it comes with a ride, HH, and 2 crashes.
it's one of the best deals Ive seen in a while.
