best cymbal company?

Ive always thought that the K and A custom Series by Zildjian are amazing cymbals. I LOVE THE A CUXTOM CRASHES!!!!!

I have owned all 3 at one time or another in my lifetime. I liked them all. It all depends though on how much money you are willing to spend on higher quality. I guess i am a traitor i prefer Meinl medium and high quality cymbals overall. I really dig them a whole lot. If i had to pick out of those three i guess paiste. I take that back if it sounds great then i would take one of all 3. The 12 in splash i own is a cymbal sound that i have been searching for years it is in the sound caster series.

I have tried Zildjian, Sabian, and Meinl - never tried bosphorus, instanbul, or paiste yet

I use Zildjian only cuz i started with it, and just stuck to it

But some lines are better then others to me, I love the Sabian Stage Series, there amazing, The A Custom's, A's, K's totally rule, and the Meinl Byzances, blow my mind

I'm going to go to the music store just to try some paistes, instanbuls, and bospherus's, also maybe some ufip

My personal preference is for the traditional dark sound, for that I prefer The Istanbul Agop Dark like, or Zildian K's, and Sabian HHs. It really is a matter of personal preference and the sound you're looking for all the major brands make a variety of good cymbals, in all of their price ranges. I would have a hard time saying one is better than the other. For me if I had to choose just one brand to go with I would probably go with Zildain Ks, because they consistantly have the sound I'm looking for.

Berzerker is right sabian r the best especially the XS2Os. like Sabians motto says BECAUSE SOUND MATTERS. and it really does.

if youre looking for good quality, good sounding lower end cymbals - theres no beating paiste. i think all 3 make great top end cymbals, tho i personally love paiste signature crashes and paiste 2002 rides

try searching for paiste signature traditional swish cymbal on youtube - its one truly beautiful sounding cymbal.

I like sabian. They are of very good sound quality(in my book) and not to expensive.

I've always owned zildjians and they've always been reliable, great sounding and durable,i've not cracked one yet (as i'm knocking on wood). My friend had a set at our practice area which included a set of paiste signatures and these were the best sounding cymbals i've ever played. So much so that I started researching them because i was contemplating buying a set. I read alot of reviews from owners who say they crack too easily, so i was kind of leery. Anyone here ever have that problem or know if this is true?
