best cymbal company?

Which company out of the big three do you think is the best?
Zildjian, Sabian, or Paiste?

so far in my drumming life I have used all 3 and I have stuck with zildjian thru all of it.
do they build the best cymbals? maby but I judge them off of sound and what I like and that is why I have stayed with them they have the sound that I am looking for in their line up.

but that dosnt mean that the others are worst or better just they all have a diffrent sound that suits every one's needs.

Zildjians are my personal favorite also. I got off on a bad start w/ sabian cause my starter cymbals were solars (horrible cymbals). But Sabian does appear to have alot of innovative and fresh ideas. I wish I could play some sabians cause some of my favorite drummers (Terry Bozzio, Jo Jo Mayer) play sabians.

I've got some of each of those brands in my collection (plus a Wuhan), but FWIW, whenever I go check out cymbals at the local music stores, I always end up checking out the Paiste display first. There's just something about their cymbals that makes my heart go "pitter pat," more so than Zildjians or Sabians. I don't say that they're the best - they're just the ones I tend to like the most.

Of the big 3 I guess I'd have to say Zildjian. The Ks and K Customs are beautiful cymbals. Saying that, Sabian HH are also great, and I can't wait to get myself some nice dark Paistes.

Anyway, I'm going nuts over Istanbul and Bosphorus right now, got myself an 18" Istanbul Agop Trad Dark crash - never heard anything like it! It's very dark sounding (as you'd hope from a dark crash) and the decay is almost disturbingly good, such a great sounding wash. Get involved.

Does it really matter?

When I need a cymbal, I listen to and try many regardless of make (though price comes into play). As a result, I not have the following:

14" Meinl Soundcaster Soundwave Hats
17" Sabian AAXtreme Crash
16" Sabian AAX Bright Crash
20" Zildjian A Custom Ride
10" Sabian B8 Pro Splash (cheap but sounds great)

So, in the end, I have three manufacturers represented and to be honest, am happy with the longevity, quality, price and most of all, sound of each of my selections.

Yep, I have a mixture of Zildjian, Sabian, Bosphorus and Istanbul in my current setup and they all sit together beautifully.

I may be the only to say this, but Sabian gets my vote here. I would like to try Bosphorus, Meinl, and Instanbul though.
