| | | i have 9.5 cymbals im using at the moment,A custom 14" fast crash as top hat, so the top hats the half...lol.
if i played all of mine at once... it would be 13, which i wouldnt want to have that many cymbals or guest eating at a table at once. |

| | | I think it depends on the application, some music requires multiple cymbal sounds while others only require the basic ride, crash, hats. |

| | What kind of sound are you looking for? What kind of music do you play? Alot of good drummers can get away with 5 or 6 cymbals. I play 14" hats, thin crash, medium crash, 12" splash and 2 rides. Just don't overdo it or the crowd will never see the master behind the sound! |

| | | some drummers don't want to be seen. I have two crashes on my left, a splash in the middle two more crashes above my ride and a china far right.
they are all low enought that you can still see my smilling face. The more the merrier I say. |
