which crash?

also in that "local" music store they sell crashes used and new,(also other types too), and there were two cymbals that cought my eyes (they wern't fishing, i kinda was), the sabian 16" AAX stage crash, and the 16" AAX plosion crash, which would sound better with a Z custom 18"?

Z's are made to be loud. So I'd guess the xplosion. However when I used Sabian cybals I bought a cymbal pack of AAX Stage series and can tell you they were my favorite Sabian cymbals I ever used.

Don't look Ethel---

PLEASE---ALL OF YOU--Stop letting yourselves be blinded by advertising moguls. It really is VERY simple. Just take one of your favorite cymbals with you, put on a darn blindfold if you have to, and let YOUR EARS tell you which cymbals sound best. Pick out several. Set them aside. When you have gone through all of them, play each one against the one you brought with you. You will have a cymbal that matches the sound qualities of your old favorite cymbal,

and WHO REALLY CARES who manufactured the darn thing. If YOUR EARS like it --IT'S PERFECT.

Yes. Every, single, cymbal is different. Take yours in there, set them up with theirs and try them all out. It's the only way you'll be truly happy with your purchase.
